Jeep Compass 2014 - the model, which became the product of a collaboration between Chrysler and Mitsubishi, appeared in 2007 and became the brand's first crossover without any special ambitions on off-road trails. The car is offered in two versions: front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, in which the rear axle is connected by an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch.
The advantages of the Jeep Compass include high ground clearance (205 mm), comfortable suspension and a very roomy trunk, which, if measured by the ceiling, tends to reach 650 liters.
In addition, a utilitarian-looking car is not without interesting solutions inside. What are the folding speakers on the inside of the tailgate. Thanks to this original solution, Jeep Compass will be able to triple the musical accompaniment to almost any event.
Since its inception, the model has been updated several times. The latest modernization was restyling, the results of which were shown at the beginning of 2013. Externally, the car began to look even more like an older and more expensive Grand Cherokee. But the most important thing is that the car has finally been upgraded technically. In particular, the outdated variator was replaced by a new six-speed "automatic".
The range of power plants on the Ukrainian market consists of two gasoline engines:
a two-liter engine (156 hp and 190 Nm), with which front-wheel drive versions are aggregated;
2.4-liter engine (170 hp and 220 Nm), which is available for modifications with an all-wheel drive system.
Manufactured in Illinois (USA).
