Description Jeep Renegade

Jeep Renegade - compact front- or all-wheel drive crossover. The manufacturer refers the Jeep Renegade to the rapidly growing B-SUV segment. The model was developed jointly by Italian and American engineers and designers based on the Fiat 500L with a monocoque body, independent suspension, ground clearance of 220 mm and disc brakes on all four wheels. The world premiere of Renegade took place in 2014, and the model came out at the end of 2016.

The crossover is presented in two trim levels: Longitude and Limited. For the first, a 1.4 MultiAir turbo four (140 hp, 230 Nm), a 6-speed robotic gearbox and front-wheel drive are provided. From 0 to 100 km / h in this configuration, the Renegade accelerates in 11 seconds, and the consumption in the combined cycle is declared at 5.0 l / 100 km. The Limited version is offered with a 170-horsepower (torque 250 Nm) version of the 1.4 engine, a 9-speed “automatic” and a Jeep Active Drive all-wheel drive system. Acceleration from standstill to “hundreds” in this case takes 8.8 seconds, and the average fuel consumption is 5.9 l / 100 km.

In other European markets, the Renegade is also offered with a 1.6 E-torQ gasoline engine (110 hp) and MultiJet turbodiesels with a volume of 1.6 liters (95 or 120 hp) and 2.0 liters (140 or 170 hp) . Moreover, diesel units, in addition to the already mentioned “robot” and automatic transmission, can be combined with a manual gearbox.

The basic Jeep Renegade equipment includes ABS and ESP systems, a hill start assistant, remote central locking, power windows and a Uconnect stereo system with a 5-inch touch screen, USB and AUX. There is also heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, cruise control, a leather steering wheel, 6 speakers, a two-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, 6 airbags, parking sensors and roof rails.

The Limited version boasts climate control and a multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen. Factory tinting, a chrome exhaust tip, light rails and 17-inch aluminum wheels with 215/60 R17 tires versus 215/65R16 for the initial version of the crossover are also provided.
